The objective is to create a free course in cybersecurity that will be available online to anyone. This project is intended for HED and VET as well as public service workers, but the open online character of the course will allow it to be used in any setting. The idea behind this course is to create a platform to teach „digital hygiene” to the lower ranks of any institution, as in the Pareto rule for cybersecurity – 80% of attacks can be avoided with only 20% of effort and skills.
The main activities are as follows:
– creating a MOOC consisting of 4 modules on different aspects of cybersecurity
– providing a course to students from various backgrounds
– organising conferences to widen the knowledge of the project and of cyberthreats
Modules:
- Module 1 – Disinformation
- Module 2 – ISO and other recommendations
- Module 3 – Qualifications framework
- Module 4 – AI
For each module it will be:
- syllabus
- 50-100 pages of text+graphic content
- interactive lesson (60-90 mins)
- video (10-15 mins)
- questions and quizzes
- ca. 20 page teachers’ book
- all of it in 5 languages
- for approximately 42 hours of study
